Hubert has been practicing and studying massage for more than 20 years. He has completed training in Ayurvedic massage and Ayurvedic nutrition, and is a certified yoga instructor at a 500-hour level. He draws on his solid training and experience to create a massage session uniquely tailored to individual needs. Hubert has training and experience in several methodologies of body and energy work. In his late teens he practiced Do-in - the Japanese technique of self-massage, which combines Shiatsu and Acupressure with stretches, breathing and meditation. In 1987 he travelled to Bali. Balinese culture is strongly influenced by Hindu culture, where massage is regarded as an important healing art. His direct experience with the healing powers of massage inspired him to learn more. Hubert went on to study formally at Tapovan, one of the major centers in Europe for learning Ayurveda. There, he completed a two-year study of Ayurvedic massage. He further extensively studied the system of Nadis (the energy channels) and Marma, which are special points in the body that can be manipulated and stimulated to promote well-being. Through his own research and commitment Hubert continues to develop his understanding of the human body from the perspective of Ayurveda. Most recently he completed studies of Ayurvedic nutrition at the European Institute of Vedic Studies. Hubert brings a consistently powerful sense of presence to each massage or treatment session. Drawing upon his training, his own practice and teaching of yoga, he works holistically with mind, body and soul. No two sessions are the same, since massage is a response to your present condition and needs. As result, you feel more energized, relaxed and centered. Diploma of Tapovan in Ayurvedic massage He has also got the opportunity to experience the Art of massage in different Asian countries (India, Laos, South Korea, Nepal) as well as martial arts like Bul Mudo (Korean monks yoga) and Hapkido (he is coaching the Chamonix team) and Qi Gong.
